Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Drew Hutchinson was accidentally nailed in the back of the head by his catcher's throw during Sunday's exhibition game against Tampa Bay.

It happened in the fifth inning as Hutchinson crouched down on the mound to give catcher A.J. Jimenez a clear path to catch Rays runner Brad Miller stealing second base. However, the throw from Jimenez came out really low and unfortunately hit Hutchinson right in the head.

Hutchinson seemed to be OK, but was taken out of the game as a precaution.

Earlier this month, a Cincinnati Reds pitcher was hit in the back by his catcher's throw. You don't expect to see these things in the major leagues, but it is spring training, so pitchers need to watch out.
