Derek Dorsett ejected for squirting water at Patrick Maroon (Video)

Vancouver Canucks right winger Derek Dorsett was ejected from Saturday night's regular season finale against Edmonton for squirting water at Oilers forward Patrick Maroon on the opposing bench.

It happened at the 18:33 mark of the third period after Maroon had just scored a power play goal to tie the game at 3-3. We can't see how it started from the video, but we can see Maroon taunting Dorsett about his yapping. Not sure what was said, but it made Dorsett so angry that he took his water bottle and squirted it at Maroon.

The referees saw it immediately and gave Dorsett a 10 minute game misconduct, sending him to the locker room. The best part of this incident is Maroon acting like the innocent victim after the "attack" by Dorsett, even though Maroon totally baited him into it.  Remember, kids, it's always the second guy that gets caught.

In the end, the Canucks beat the Oilers 4-3 in a shootout to end the season for both teams.
