Chris Withrow has trouble opening bullpen door

Atlanta Braves relief pitcher Chris Withrow had some trouble during his relief appearance in Friday night's game against the New York Mets. Withrow may have realized it wasn't going to be his night when he had trouble opening the bullpen door before coming into the game.

It happened in the top of the seventh as the Braves called for Withrow with two outs and a runner on first in the bottom of the seventh. Withrow pulled and pushed on the door but couldn't get it open.

Things didn't get much better for Withrow once he got out to the mound. He was pulled after pitching to only two batters, giving up a walk and a single which loaded the bases. Some would say it's been that kind of year for the Braves, who have the worst record in the National League.

Fortunately, however, Withrow was bailed out by his teammates. Hunter Cervenka was able to close out the inning without giving up a run, and the Braves were able to hold on to beat the Mets 5-1.
