Blackhawks score own goal on empty net (Video)

The Chicago Blackhawks accidentally scored an own goal after pulling their goalie in the final minute of Wednesday night's season opener against St. Louis due to some sloppy puck handling.

The Blackhawks pulled goaltender Corey Crawford late in the game with the Blues holding a 4-2 lead. The move backfired as Brent Seabrook attempted a behind-the-back pass in his own end that went out of reach of Patrick Kane and right towards the net. Duncan Keith made a desperate attempt to save the puck before it crossed the goal line, but to no avail.

The Blues won the game 5-2.
