Russell Westbrook inspires 'MVP' chant...from Nets fans (Video)

Oklahoma City Thunder star Russell Westbrook had huge fan support Tuesday night, as the crowd started the "MVP" chant as he took foul shots about 90 seconds into the game.

Making this even more noteworthy, however, was that the chant came from the hometown Brooklyn Nets fans.

Nets fans haven't had much to cheer about this year, as Brooklyn has only won once at home all year, and it came just a few days ago against their crosstown rival Knicks.

Westbrook finished the game with his 33rd triple-double of the season (25 points, 19 assists, 12 rebounds), and Nets fans gave him a standing ovation.

The Thunder beat the Nets 122-104.
