Cardinals-Astros game delayed when car couldn't leave field (Video)

Sunday's Grapefruit League spring training game between the St. Louis Cardinals and Houston Astros was delayed when a car had trouble leaving the field.

The car was on the field in the middle of the 7th inning as part of a promotion for Delivery Dudes and was expecting to drive off through the right field bullpen. However, the car didn't have enough room to navigate between the bullpen door and a production truck sitting a few feet behind the outfield wall.

After a few failed attempts to squeeze through the small space, the driver finally got smart, as he made a U-turn and drove along the warning track to exit the field through the left field bullpen.

This is likely not a reflection on Delivery Dudes, but we're curious how they are going to compete with Grubhub.

Suffice it to say, we've never seen anything like this in major league baseball. That's why we watch, because you never know what can happen.

In the end, the Astros beat the Cardinals 7-3.
