St. Louis Blues right winger Chris Stewart was ejected in the first period of last night's NHL game against the Detroit Red Wings for pushing defenseman Niklas Kronwall from behind into the boards.
According to the official scorecard, Stewart received a five-minute major penalty for checking and a 10-minute game misconduct. However, it is possible Stewart may receive a suspension from the NHL once the tape is reviewed by Brendan Shanahan. Stay tuned.
