Jay Bruce gets inside-the-park home run (Video)

Cincinnati Reds right fielder Jay Bruce hit an inside-the-park home run in the second inning of Friday night's game at Citi Field against the New York Mets.

Bruce hit a fly ball to left field off New York Mets pitcher Dillon Gee. The ball sliced towards the foul line and away from Mets left fielder Jason Bay, who dove for the ball and missed, sliding head-first into the outfield wall. Bay needed a full five seconds to get up before he could chase down the ball, which opened the door for Bruce to make it all the way around the bases.

After the play, Bay left the game to be attended to by Mets medical staff for a possible concussion.
