Paper airplane lands near home plate at Diamondbacks game (Video)

A timeout was called during Wednesday night's game at Chase Field when a paper airplane landed near home plate and in front of Arizona Diamondbacks catcher Miguel Montero.

It happened in the top of the eighth inning with a man on first and Padres pinch hitter Yasmani Grandal at the plate, right before D-backs pitcher David Hernandez was about to deliver his 0-2 pitch.

Needless to say, throwing paper airplanes on the field at baseball games is distracting to the players on the field and could be potentially dangerous, so for those of you at home, please don't do it.

To really bring the point home, however, it should be noted what happened in this case after the airplane landed. On the very next pitch, Grandal hit a two-run home run to give the Padres a 6-4 lead. Way to distract your own team, D-backs fans. By the way, the Padres won the game 8-6.
