Vance Worley delivers pitch with too much rosin (Video)

Minnesota Twins pitcher Vance Worley's first pitch of the third inning was delivered with a bit too much rosin during Saturday's game against the Baltimore Orioles.

As Worley delivered the first pitch to Nate McLouth, an unmistakable cloud of rosin came off the ball near the pitcher's mound. The cloud was so big and such a distraction that home plate umpire Gary Darling had no choice but to give Worley a warning.

Despite the embarrassing moment, Worley pitched well enough to get the win in the Twins' 8-5 victory over the Orioles.  Hopefully Worley will go easy on the rosin from now on.
