Seattle Mariners second baseman Robinson Cano faces the New York Yankees on Tuesday for the first time since leaving his former team as a free agent. However, Cano arrived in New York a day early to participate in a Tonight Show sketch set up by host Jimmy Fallon. In the sketch, Yankee fans are encouraged to boo a cardboard cutout of Cano until the real Robinson Cano steps out from behind it and surprises them. The reactions of the fans are pretty hysterical.
Kudos to Cano for being a great sport. Good to see he still appreciates the Yankee fans.
