Padres, Rockies duck for cover as bees swarm the field (Video)

A swarm of bees took over the field in Peoria Stadium in Arizona during Thursday's Cactus League spring training game between the San Diego Padres and visiting Colorado Rockies, sending players, umpires and coaches ducking for cover.

The wild scene looked like a bomb drill as the entire Padres infield, along with the Rockies batter and some of the umpires and coaches, hit the deck when the bees arrived.

Eventually the bees left the field and play was able to resume. The Rockies beat the Padres 10-5.
