Tony Richardson spells Jets wrong at NFL Draft (Video)

Retired NFL running back Tony Richardson had an embarrassing gaffe at the NFL Draft on Friday night by misspelling the name of the New York Jets.

Richardson played his final three NFL seasons with the Jets, and he was given the honor of announcing their third round pick. Richardson tried to add some spice to the announcement by working in the classic "J-E-T-S JETS" chant. Unfortunately, it came out "J-E-T-E".

Richardson didn't even catch himself saying it, as he made no attempt to correct himself before naming Alabama wide receiver ArDarius Stewart as the Jets pick.

All you had to do was say the name of the team, Tony. You didn't have to spell it. That's what happens when you try to get too fancy.
