Nationals fans salute Jayson Werth with werewolf, gnome costumes (Video)

Some Washington Nationals fans attended Tuesday night's game against the Atlanta Braves in werewolf and gnome costumes to salute their star right fielder Jayson Werth.

The werewolf costume is in reference to one of Werth's choices of walk-up music, the Warren Zevon classic "Werewolves of London", which is in itself a self-deprecating reference to his large beard. The gnome costumes are a take-off from the Jayson Werth garden gnome giveaway that the Nationals held back in June, which was immensely popular.

With the Nationals seemingly having the National League East division title locked up, we may be seeing a lot more of these costumes come playoff time.
