AHL goalie Reto Barra scores goal and celebrates in style (Video)

Lake Erie Monsters goaltender Reto Barra became only the 11th goaltender in AHL history to score a goal with an empty netter against the Chicago Wolves, and he celebrated in style by skating to the bench for high-fives.

Barra, who was sent down to the minors by the Colorado Avalanche just last weekend, shot it down the ice and nailed it dead center into the Chicago net for the goal.

Barra's celebration seemed to upset Wolves coach John Anderson, who said after the game that he felt that Barra was showing them up. That's debatable, but it may have just been a case of Barra being so excited that he couldn't help himself. After all, how often does a goalie get to score a goal themselves?
