Aaron Barrett beats Aaron Harang in pregame staredown (Video)

Washington Nationals pitcher Aaron Barrett beat Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Aaron Harang in a pregame staredown prior to Friday night's game in D.C.

Barrett and Harang began the standoff after the National Anthem, with Barrett wearing a backwards batting helmet and Harang wearing catcher's gear. Neither one moved from their spot until Max Scherzer threw the first pitch, at which time Harang had to leave the field because he was too far out on the field.

It was Barrett's second pregame staredown victory after beating Brandon Barnes in Colorado last year.
