As Molly Qerim was asking Sharpe whether the Kansas City Chiefs should be on upset alert in their opening game against Detroit due to the holdout of star defensive lineman Chris Jones, Sharpe accidentally referred to Stephen A. as "Skip".
Now that was awkward, but certainly understandable. Considering Sharpe spent nearly seven years as co-host of Undisputed on FS1 with Skip Bayless, Smith was very forgiving. There's a lot worse mistakes that Sharpe could have made, including cursing on air.
We can relate to Sharpe, as the first day of a new job is always tough. You are bound to make mistakes, but the key is to keep moving forward. Sharpe has a Hall of Fame resume, so he should have no problem. We wish him luck on his new show.
