An anti-Israel protestor caused some chaos during Wednesday's Stage 11 of the Tour de France when he ran into the roadway to disrupt the final sprint.
The home stretch of Stage 11 came down to a two-man breakaway with Norway's Jonas Abrahamsen overtaking Switzerland's Mauro Schmid in the final sprint. The protestor jumped a barrier about 50 meters from the finish line and began running along the road towards the finish line.
Fortunately, Abrahamsen and Schmid were in the opposite lane of the road and passed by the protestor without being impacted. A security guard quickly ran in from the opposite direction and stopped the protestor, restraining him and forcing him back outside the barrier as Mathieu van der Poel approached the finish line for third place.

We have seen protestors disrupt the Tour de France before, with one stage actually paused a few years back due to climate change protestors with smoke flares.
As far as the overall standings, Tadej Pogačar still wears the yellow jersey despite crashing with about 4 km remaining.
