Video: Rex Ryan Caught Telling Fan To "Shut The F*** Up"

New York Jets coach Rex Ryan is in some hot water as he was caught cursing at a fan who heckled him as the team headed into the locker room at halftime of last Monday night's game against the New England Patriots.

Fortunately for us, there was video of the incident.

The video was taken by a fan and shows the Jets entering the tunnel at halftime to head for the locker room. As Ryan was about to enter the tunnel, a fan shouted "Hey Rex, [Bill] Belicheck is better than you". Ryan replied "Shut the f*** up".

Ryan could now be subject to discipline by the NFL, most likely a fine.

A few weeks ago, Ryan told some San Diego Chargers players to "Stay Classy" after they complained after losing to the Jets. Looks like Rex Ryan needs to take his own advice.

As a head coach in the NFL, Ryan needs to behave appropriately. It is understandable to be a bit emotional in the heat of the moment, but Ryan needs to be able to handle these fan heckling situations better. Otherwise, this little stuff is going to bring him down.

UPDATE: ESPN reports that the NFL will fine Rex Ryan between $75,000 and $100,000 for this incident.
