Squirrel runs onto field during Dodgers-Rockies game (Video)

A squirrel caused a brief delay in Friday night's game at Coors Field between the Colorado Rockies and the visiting Los Angeles Dodgers when he ran across the field in the bottom of the sixth inning.

The squirrel ran across the grass in between the pitcher's mound and home plate and briefly stopped in front of the Dodgers dugout on the third-base side of the field. The squirrel then walked over to Rockies third base coach Rich Dauer before making his way off the field, crawling under the chair of a security guard before disappearing under the rolled-up tarp.

After the delay, the Rockies score four runs in the sixth inning and five more runs over the next two innings to crush the Dodgers 13-3. It looks like the Rockies may have their own "Rally Squirrel" in the house.
