Holding out for some higher standards (and a few laughs) in today's world of sports.

Boise State cheerleader displays Bronco toughness after taking hit on sideline (Video)

A Boise State cheerleader displayed some toughness as she got right up after taking a hit on the sideline from Broncos wide receiver Mitch Burroughs during Friday night's game at Michigan State.

It happened in the first quarter as Burroughs chased a pass out of bounds of the end zone and ran into the cheerleader.

The cheerleader also displayed a very strange sense of humor as she laughed hysterically afterwards.

H/T RTP.

  1. Gotta play tough? Laughing hysterically?

That girl looks hurt. It's a huge mistake to have _anyone_ standing that close to the sidelines with their backs to the action.

Nobody else on the sidelines is looking out for them, and since they don't have eyes in the backs of their heads, they're very badly exposed to big guys running at them (often spinning out of control) in full pads and helmet.
