Boston mayor butchers Vince Wilfork's name while wearing his jersey (Video)

Boston mayor Tom Menino has been known to mispronounce and mixup the names of local pro sports athletes during public interviews. However, Menino may have topped himself this week as he mispronounced the name of New England Patriots defensive lineman Vince Wilfork while he was wearing Wilfork's jersey.

Menino was having an interview with New England Cable News over a bet that he had with the Baltimore mayor over Sunday's Patriots-Ravens playoff game when he referred to Wilfork as "Wilcock". You have to wonder why Menino's handlers would put a Wilfork jersey on him if he didn't know Wilfork well enough to know how to pronounce his name.

Menino also butchered the "Gronk" nickname of injured tight end Rob Gronkowski by calling him "Gonk".
