Metallica joins Yankees for Mariano Rivera farewell ceremony (Video)

Metallica says farewell to Mariano Rivera

On Sunday, the New York Yankees held a retirement ceremony for legendary closer Mariano Rivera, who was playing his final home game at Yankee Stadium. It was only fitting that the band who plays Rivera's entrance song, Metallica, was on hand to perform "Enter Sandman" live before the game as Mo walked onto the field for the ceremony.

James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo were all on hand and gave Mo a parting gift of an autographed amplifier along with one of Hammett's guitars. A great moment to watch.
