Utah State hockey goaltender Keegan McHenry gave up the winning goal in the final seconds of last week's overtime game against the Denver Pioneers in unbelievably embarrassing fashion, as he left the net wide open to chat with some fans in the corner of the rink.
Utah State was on a power play and a faceoff was taking place in the Denver zone. With the open net, Denver won the face off and sent it down the length of the ice for the easy shorthanded goal. McHenry realized his mistake and made a desperate attempt to stop the puck at the last minute, but it was too late.
