Ronaldo was walking off the pitch at the end of the first half when he was hit by the yellow cigarette lighter and went down to the ground. Ronaldo was treated by medical staff, but luckily was OK and was able to continue playing in the second half. No word if the culprit in the stands who committed this despicable act was caught.
Ronaldo scored two goals on penalty kicks in the first half, giving Real Madrid a 2-0 victory over Atletico (5-0 on aggregate) to advance to the Copa del Rey final.
