Mike Morin makes diving catch off deflection after teammates collide (Video)

Los Angeles Angels reliever Mike Morin made an impressive diving catch on a deflected popup after two teammates collided trying to catch the ball during Sunday's game against Houston.

It happened in the top of the eighth inning with two outs as Astros batter Jon Singleton hit a popup in front of the pitcher's mound. Angels catcher Hank Conger backpedaled out from home plate to make the play while first baseman C.J. Cron came in. Conger didn't hear Cron call for it until the last minute, and the ball popped out of Conger's glove as he backed into Cron. Fortunately, Morin was there to save the day as he displayed some surprising athleticism with the diving play to make the out and end the inning.

Conger and Cron were OK and were able to finish the game. The Angels beat the Astros 6-1.
