White Sox fan catches foul ball with beer cup (Video)

A Chicago White Sox fan used his half-empty cup of beer to catch a bouncing foul ball during the fourth inning of Wednesday night's game against Cleveland.

It happened in the bottom of the fourth as White Sox batter Carlos Sanchez hit a ball down the left field line that curved foul and bounced in the dirt before heading towards the stands. The fan in the front row wasn't able to catch it with his bare hand, but knocked it straight up in the air, setting himself up to catch it on a bounce. Since he didn't have a glove, the beer cup served quite well.

The White Sox fan chugged what was left of his beer with the ball in it. This may not have been the most sanitary thing to do after the ball bounced in the dirt, but at least he got to take it home.
