Young Pirates fan mimics players behind home plate at NL Wild Card game (Video)

A young Pittsburgh Pirates fan turned himself into an Internet sensation during Wednesday night's National League Wild Card game against San Francisco by mimicing the players of his favorite team from behind home plate in full view of television cameras.

The young Pirates fan was perfectly positioned in the aisle behind home plate during the late innings of the game. The kid swung away at pitches from Giants pitcher Madison Bumgarner while the Pirates were up at bat, then he threw pitches along with the Pirates pitchers while they were in the field.

Security didn't seem to have any issues with the young fan being out of his seat. Many fans had left during the late stages of the game as the Pirates on their way to losing to the Giants 8-0. Still, this young fan gave it his all, making some of the fans at home wonder if things would have been different for the Pirates if this kid was given a chance to play.
