Oliver Ekman-Larsson scores shorhanded goal from center ice (Video)

Arizona Coyotes defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson somehow scored a shorthanded goal from beyond center ice to open the third period of Thursday night's game against Toronto.

After the Coyotes won the face-off to open the third, Ekman-Larsson launched the puck down the ice towards the Maple Leafs net, and somehow it bounced past Maple Leafs goalie Jonathan Bernier for the score. Even after watching the video, it's still hard to see how the puck found its way into the net.

It was a sign of things to come for Bernier and the Maple Leafs, as the Coyotes scored two more goals in the period to win the game 3-1. The Maple Leafs have now lost 11 of their last 12 games.
