Slovenian ski jumper Peter Prevc set a new world record on the Vikersundbakken hill in Norway Saturday with a jump of 250 meters (820 feet), giving him the victory in the Vikersund FIS World Cup.
Prevc beat the old record (held by Norway's Johan Remen Evensen) by 3.5 meters.
