Tim Tebow made his long-awaited return to the NFL as quarterback of the Philadelphia Eagles in the fourth quarter of Sunday's preseason game against Indianapolis, and he did not disappoint his fans.
Tebow went 6-for-12 for 69 yards, and capped off a late scoring drive with a 7-yard touchdown run.
It doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things, but it probably means a lot to Tebow, who could have given up on his dreams to continue his pro football career a long time ago. Maybe his persistence will finally pay off with the Eagles.
