Soccer player sent off for throwing chewing gum at opponent (Video)

In Euro 2016 qualifier action from Group B, Bosnia and Herzegovina defender Muhamed Besic was sent off at the 62-minute mark of Sunday's match for throwing his chewing gum at Andorra midfielder Victor Rodriguez.

Besic had just been tackled with a trip by Andorra midfielder Josep Ayala. Rodriguez appeared to say something to Besic as he walked by just after the takedown, and Besic obviously didn't like what he said.  However, throwing chewing gum at someone is behavior that is generally frowned upon, hence the ejection.

Ironically, Rodriguez got himself tossed from the game moments later when he tried to taunt Besic on his way off the field.  We couldn't see it from the video, but obviously the referee did, as he was right there.

Bosnia/Herzegovina won the match 3-0, but Besic faces a three-game suspension from international play.
