Alabama Crimson Tide running back Kenyan Drake shamelessly flopped in a flagrant attempt to draw a late hit penalty during Thursday night's Cotton Bowl against Michigan State.
After making a catch and stepping out of bounds along the Alabama sideline, Drake dropped to the ground about a full second after being lightly bumped by a Michigan State defender. Fortunately, the officials didn't fall for it and no penalty was called.
To his credit, Drake used some self-deprecating humor the next morning when referencing the play on Twitter:
Michigan State is the overwhelming leader in Drake's poll after losing to Alabama 38-0.
