Canucks forward Lindey Vey scores own goal vs Penguins (Video)

Vancouver Canucks forward Lindey Vey accidentally scored an own goal during the third period of Saturday's game in Pittsburgh.

Lindey Vey own goal
Penguins forward Evgeni Malkin skated to the right of the net, drawing Canucks goaltender Ryan Miller way out of position and leaving the net open. As Malkin skated behind the net, he sent the puck back in front of it. Vey intercepted the pass and tried to knock it away, but instead knocked it into his own net.

Malkin was credited with an unassisted goal on the play. To make matters worse, the play started a 4-goal rally for the Penguins, and they came away with the 5-4 victory.

We can't help but say it: "Oy, Vey!"
