Pistons honor Ben Wallace by retiring his jersey (Video)

The Detroit Pistons honored their legendary center Ben Wallace by retiring his number 3 jersey in a halftime ceremony during Saturday night's game against Golden State.

Wallace came to the Pistons via trade in 2000 and played in Detroit for six years, earning four NBA All-Star appearances and winning the NBA Defensive Player of the Year award four times during that span. Wallace was also a key member of the Pistons as they won the NBA Championship in 2004.

Wallace had kind words for the Pistons fans and thanked them for their support before watching his number lifted to the rafters of The Palace at Auburn Hills.  You can watch Wallace's speech right here:
