Brewers bat out of order vs Nationals (Video)

The Milwaukee Brewers were charged with batting out of order during the first inning of Monday's Independence Day game in Washington.

Brewers left fielder came up third in the top of the first inning with two out. After Braun hit a single to center field, Nationals manager Dusty Baker immediately came out onto the field to have a discussion with home plate umpire Cory Blaser about the lineup cards.

As it turned out, Brewers first baseman Jonathan Lucroy was listed third on the pregame lineup cards, while Braun was listed fourth. As a result, Lucroy was called out and charged with an at-bat, while Braun came up again in the top of the second for his own at-bat.

Fortunately, it didn't cost the Brewers anything in the end, as they beat the Nationals 1-0.
