Minnesota Twins designated hitter Miguel Sano hit a foul ball that found its way into a garbage can during Friday's spring training game against Philadelphia.
In the top of the third inning, Sano hit a line drive on a 1-1 pitch that hooked foul along the third base side. However, the ball took the perfect bounce and landed in the garbage can that was perfectly placed along the edge of the stands.
A few points to make here:
- Sano couldn't do that again if he tried.
- Fantastic play by the garbage can.
- No hesitation by the fans to dig through the garbage to get the ball. Gotta work for those souvenirs.
