Video: College Baseball Players Joust During Rain Delay

Fans who were in attendance during Radford University's home baseball game against High Point University on Sunday got more than their money's worth...if they stuck around during the rain delay.  Big League Stew explains:
During a rain delay on Sunday afternoon, Radford University pitcher Mark Peterson and High Point University catcher Kyle Mahoney took up jousting to pass the time. Both players hopped on the shoulders of a teammate, lined up, and charged at one another using aluminum bats as spears.

Despite what appeared to be a potentially dangerous fall, the loser of this battle was OK.  However, something tells me that the coaches on both sides may need to help these players find safer things to do during rain delays going forward.
