On Friday, the Green Bay Packers unveiled the Lambeau Leap statue outside the stadium to commemorate the original touchdown celebration invented by safety LeRoy Butler.

The statue features four bronze fans standing behind a padded wall taking part in the celebration, which has become a tradition for the players after touchdowns during Packers home games.

Team president Mark Murphy said the team chose to honor the fans with the statue, which is why it does not include Butler or any other Packers player. However, Butler happily took part in the unveiling ceremony and "broke in" the statue by replicating his Lambeau Leap pose.
