Ricardo Lockette ejected for throwing punch (Video)

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Ricardo Lockette was ejected in the third quarter of Sunday's game against Kansas City for throwing a punch at Chiefs free safety Kurt Coleman.

It happened during a scrum after a 40 yard Chiefs punt return as Lockette threw a big right hand to Coleman's head, which was fortunately protected by his helmet. In addition to Lockette's ejection, he was penalized 15 yards for the unnecessary roughness.

Despite the fact that the Seahawks recovered a Chiefs fumble on the very next play, it was a thoughtless and selfish act on Lockette's part.  Besides, how are you going to hurt someone with a punch to the head if they're wearing a helmet?

DISCLAIMER:  Holdout Sports does not condone unnecessary roughness.
