Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud gets red card for headbutting opponent (Video)

In Barclays Premier League soccer action Friday, Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud was given a straight red card for headbutting Queens Park Rangers defenseman Nedum Onuoha.

Onuoha tripped up Giroud in the 53rd minute as they were chasing a loose ball, and Giroud lost his temper:

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was clearly not pleased, as he stared down Giroud as he left the pitch:

Arsenal won the match 2-1 despite playing the rest of the match down a man. However, Giroud will also be suspended for Arsenal's next three league matches. That was a senseless play by Giroud, who has to know better than that.

H/T FTW.
