Kyle O'Quinn ejected for hitting Blake Griffin in face (GIF)

Orlando Magic forward Kyle O'Quinn received an automatic ejection from Wednesday night's game against the Los Angeles Clippers after being called for a flagrant 2 foul for hitting Blake Griffin in the face with his forearm.

It happened in the second quarter as Griffin was driving down the lane for a layup. O'Quinn made an aggressive play to swat the ball out of Griffin's hands, but the follow-through got Griffin in the face and knocked him down to the floor.

Griffin was not seriously hurt and stayed in the game.

O'Quinn had started the game in place of Magic center Nikola Vucevic, who sat out the game with back spasms, so the ejection left the Magic really shorthanded, allowing the Clippers to run away with the game in the second half.

Griffin finished with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists despite sitting out the entire fourth quarter as the Clippers blew out the Magic 114-86.
