Louisville forward Montrezl Harrell ejected for throwing punch (Video)

Louisville Cardinals forward Montrezl Harrell ejected for throwing a punch at an opponent during Saturday's game against Western Kentucky.

Things got physical after a scramble for a loose ball with 38.7 seconds remaining in the first half, with Harrell ending up on the floor. Harrell quickly got up and threw a punch at WKU guard Avery Patterson.

Fortunately Patterson anticipated the punch coming and ducked out of the way, saving himself from injury. Harrell was restrained by one of his teammates, but it was too late to keep him out of trouble as the damage was done. Harrell was called with a flagrant 2 and tossed from the game, and he will also have to serve a one game suspension, meaning he will sit out Louisville's next game.

A referee was hit in the face during the scuffle, although it appeared to be accidental contact from another referee who was coming over to help separate the players.

Louisville won the game 76-67 to remain undefeated at 10-0.
