Ryan Suter knocks out Steve Downie with nasty elbow to face (Video)

Minnesota Wild defenseman Ryan Suter knocked Pittsburgh Penguins forward Steve Downie out of Tuesday night's game at CONSOL Energy Arena with a nasty elbow to the face.

It happened early in the second period in front of the Wild net, and Suter was not called for the penalty on the play, making you wonder how the referees could have missed this obvious call. If there is justice, Suter will be getting a fine and/or suspension after the Department of Player Safety reviews this play.

UPDATE: On Wednesday, the NHL suspended Suter for two games.
