Sabres forward Nicolas Deslauriers heads the puck (Video)

Buffalo Sabres left winger Nicolas Deslauriers headed the puck soccer-style in an attempted pass during Friday night's game against Ottawa.

The puck floated softly in the air, giving Deslauriers the opportunity to make the unusual maneuver. We definitely wouldn't recommend this move to the kids at home, especially on a slapshot.

Surprisingly, this is actually NOT the first time we've seen a hockey player head the puck. Henrik Lundqvist used his head to make an excellent pass just last month.
