Ryan Anderson executes ridiculous flop against Cavs (Video)

New Orleans Pelicans forward Ryan Anderson made himself look ridiculous with a shameless flop during Friday night's game against Cleveland.

Anderson was defending Cavaliers forward Kevin Love and tried to draw the attention of the referees after some incidental contact when Love made his move. However, because Anderson fell almost a full second after the contact was made, it was clear to everyone that it was just an act.

Love made his shot, and no foul was called. In our view, Anderson should have been given a technical for unsportsmanlike behavior. That's the only way to stop the flopping epidemic in the NBA.

Other than that, Anderson played a respectable game, coming off the bench for 18 points and 5 rebounds as the Pelicans beat the Cavs in overtime 114-108.
