MLB teams head to Spring Training (Video)

Baltimore Orioles mascot ready for spring training

It's February, which means according to the sports calendar, MLB spring training is about to start. The players haven't reported yet, but the work involved in getting the teams ready has already started.

The LA Angels held their Moving Day on January 26, and fans were invited to Angel Stadium for a free event as trucks were loaded with the team equipment for their camp in Tempe, Arizona.

People may not realize all the work involved in getting an MLB clubhouse ready for the start of spring training camp. This video provides an inside look. Lots of people and plenty of trucks involved. Kudos to the team mascots who were happy to help, including The Oriole Bird, Raymond (Rays), the Swinging Friar (Padres) and Mr. and Mrs. Met.

Everyone is excited to get things going, and it all starts this week with pitchers and catchers reporting to spring training. First up, the Oakland A's pitchers and catchers on Monday, February 11th.
