Max Domi kicks puck into own net

Montreal Canadiens veteran center Max Domi scored an own goal during Tuesday night's game against Tampa Bay when he accidentally kicked the puck into his own net.

It happened less than three minutes into the first period as Domi was helping out the defense. Domi knocked the puck away from the net and towards the corner. Lightning center Steven Stamkos took control of the puck and sent it back to Domi, who instinctively tried to kick it away. Unfortunately, he kicked it past goaltender Carey Price and into the net.

Stamkos was given credit for an unassisted goal to open the scoring in the game. Fortunately, Domi's teammates bailed him out as the Canadiens beat the Lightning 4-2.
