Anthony Edwards throws down monster dunk vs. Nets

Anthony Edwards throws down nasty dunk, Timberwolves vs Nets 12/3/2021

Minnesota Timberwolves small forward Anthony Edwards threw down a nasty one-handed slam dunk for the highlight reels during Friday night's game in Brooklyn.

It happened in the second quarter with the Timberwolves holding a 46-45 lead.  After a missed shot by Kevin Durant, Timberwolves center grabbed the rebound and passed it to Edwards near midcourt. With the Nets not quite lined up on defense, Edwards pushed it to the basket and slammed it home with authority.

The dunk brought the Timberwolves bench to their feet, and even the hometown Nets fans were impressed.  T-Wolves teammate D'Angelo Russell had a rather hilarious reaction:

Edwards scored 19 points for the game.  Unfortunately, the Nets were too much for the Timberwolves as they won the game 110-105.
