The Miami Heat paid tribute to 42-year-old power forward Udonis Haslem prior to Sunday's season finale against Orlando with the gift of a custom rocking chair as he heads into retirement.

Haslem has spent his entire 20-year NBA career with the Heat and was part of the 2006, 2012 and 2013 NBA championships won by the team. Haslem announced before the season started that the 2022-23 NBA season would be his last, which gave the Heat an opportunity to give him a proper sendoff. Former teammate and soon-to-be Pro Basketball Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade was in attendance for the pregame festivities.

Current Heat teammate Bam Adebayo, along with team mascot Burnie, were given the honor of presenting Haslem with the black rocking chair, which featured his jersey number 40, along with images of three NBA championship trophies and the slogan "100% Real".

Haslem has not had significant playing time recently, having only played in 23 games in the past four seasons heading into Sunday. However, the Heat gave Haslem the opportunity to check in just a few minutes into the game, and the fans gave him a standing ovation. He then went on to have a career finale to remember, scoring 24 points in 25 minutes, including three 3-pointers, which led the Heat in scoring for the game as they beat the Magic 123-110. An incredible way for Haslem to cap off a solid career.
